Description of the excursion
This excursion takes us first along the east coast of Tenerife to La Laguna, the old capital, which since 1999 belongs to the World Culture Heritage. Since hundreds of years, it is also the seat of the bishop. La Laguna is also the oldest university town in the archipelago. We participate in a guided tour through the historic center of La Laguna.
After the tour we continue our trip along the village of Tecina to Punta de Hidalgo, the northernmost point of the island. This place is like set in scenery with impressive volcanic formations and with the beautiful mountains of Anaga in the background.
Here, the rock formations of Punta de Hidalgo rise from the powerful sea, where the huge waves burst on the cliffs. On this wild north coast you can fully enjoy the power of nature.
After lunch in a restaurant on the seafront is where you can sit back and relax, we return through the Anaga mountains towards Los Cristianos.
